Kyoei USA Brings Home 2 Trophies at 2010 DUB Show in Phoenix, Az
This year’s DUB Show was a success after Kyoei USA represented Arizona with 9 cars, 2 of which took home trophies. Last year we had 5 cars in the show and we were happy to have nearly doubled that amount this year. We could have probably had a couple more cars but some didn’t get finished in time or people had prior engagements and couldn’t make it. Hopefully next year we can represent with even more cars. This year we were able to talk to the DUB Show staff and get an actual VIP class for us which is the first time the DUB Show has ever had a class specifically for VIP style cars.
Our line up this year consisted of 9 vehicles. We had 2 LS400’s, 06 GS430, 3 GS300’s, IS250, xB and 350z. Cesar won Best VIP with his turbocharged white 2002 GS300 on air suspension and Work Varianza T1S wheels. Chris won Best 2dr Street with his Daytona Blue 2003 350z which is slammed on coilovers and Work Varianza T1S wheels. Both cars are daily driven, actually pretty much all the cars we had in the show are daily drivers.
The show was a great time as usual. Its always nice hanging out with everyone and being around the cars. Not many people know about the VIP style and what it consists of so its nice to see the reactions of the general public when they walk by the cars. People are not used to seeing Lexus sedans slammed with big wheels and all the interior mods like curtains, crystal shift knobs, tables holding various Japanese alcohols, etc etc. Our group definitely got lots of attention from the crowd.
