SEMA Show 2012 Las Vegas

This year’s SEMA show was a success. We met with Felgenoutlet for a photoshoot and with Airrunner Acctv for a video shoot Friday. Friday night we attended the Vegas VIP meet. We can’t wait for next year!

Tanabe NF210 lowering springs lower the front by 1.1″ and rears by 1.2″ (F-Sport)

RS*R’s springs lower the front by approximately 1.06″ and rears by 1.25″ (F-Sport model figures are approximately 0.5″ front and rear)

RS-R Ran Up Oil Additive

We are very excited to introduce to you RS*R’s new Ran Up oil additive. It will be available for sale very soon so be sure to contact us if you are looking to purchase some. Retail price will be around $50 per bottle but the good news is that the bottles will be about twice as big as our samples pictured below. Now we all know there are tons of products out there that promise everything in a bottle. Many people don’t buy into all those fake claims because most are not true. But, every once in a while there are some products that come along that are tried and true. RS*R’s Ran Up utilizes modern NASA technology in the way that Ran Up and NASA”s robotic lubricants are both ceramic powder based. Also, some cars in Japan’s Super GT race series have been using Ran Up for a long time now. If that isn’t enough, RS*R also uses it in their turbocharged Formula D Scion tC. RS*R also informed us that they have a dyno-proven 7hp gain on one of their employee’s Scion TC. We decided to do a quick test of our own too so we poured it into the ’06 Scion xB and our initial impressions were a smoother operating engine and better engine response. To quickly sum it up, Ran Up’s benefits are:

Increased engine power and torque output
Increased response
Decreased engine noise and vibration
Extends engine oil change intervals
Promotes fuel efficiency
Reduces C02 emissions output

We are happy to announce that we now carry RS*R products! And you know we are bringing you some more JDM goodness, this time with RS*R’s Black i coilovers for VIP cars.

We just installed them on a local customer’s LS400 and the feedback so far has been positive. If you remember, we also were the first to bring in Tanabe’s Super Low Form Damper coilover system on another local LS400. Just like the Tanabes, these RS*R coilovers are only offered in Japan.
