Nisei Week Car Show Downtown LA 2012

Not only did we represent at The Infamous in Long Beach this past weekend, but also at the Nisei Week Car Show in downtown Los Angeles in Little Tokyo. We want to thank Beat Sonic for inviting Cesar and his GS to represent for Kyoei at their booth. Also a shoutout to the Club4AG crew! We always enjoy returning to SoCal to hang out with you guys!

Kyoei USA GS300

JSP Fab single turbo Supra on HRE wheels stretching tires.

A lot of fine Hondas and Acuras showcased.

There was one other AZ car representing! Coincidentally, this car was also featured in the same Super Street issue that our LS400 was in (June ’12).

Top notch build on this IS300.

Toyota Supra with VVT-i 2JZ-GTE motor.

Very neat Honda City with Motocompo scooter.

LS460 lowered on HRE wheels.

Simple but clean IS300 lowered, sitting on SSR MS1s and JDM Altezza grill

Unfortunately, we don’t see CRZs modded much. It is a shame, this one looks great.

And we can’t forget about the lowriders!

Nisei Week Showoff Car Show & The Infamous 8/11/12

We’ve made several trips to Southern California this year already and we are looking forward to more. Especially, for these two events which are happening on the same day.

Nisei Week Showoff Car Show

DATE: August 11th 2012 (Saturday)
TIME: 11am – 7pm
ADMISSION: ADULTS $12, CHILD 5-12 years $6 (kids under 5 free)
LOCATION: DOWNTOWN LITTLE TOKYO

The Infamous by Canibeat x Hellaflush

During the event, we will also have Round 2 of the Illest B-Boy Battle which will be going on simultaneously during the event on the stage and have the QSU DJ Battle in between the B-Boy Battle. QSU will be hosted by Thudrumble and will feature the best DJ’s from around the world.

Wekfest LA 2012 Long Beach, CA

We had the pleasure of being admitted into the Wekfest LA show this year. This show is one of the best shows every year because cars have to be pre-screened before they allow you to register. We were told out of 1400-1600 applications, only 450 cars or so are admitted. We had our LS400 in Airrunner’s booth, so we want to give them a big thanks for all the help and support. There were a total of 6 cars with us there. Big congratulations for our good friend Jerell in his Skyboxx xB for taking 1st place. And our friend Elmer Lee in his blue 240 with widened BNSports widebody kit took 2nd place. Overall the location, the weather, the cars, and the people were awesome. We met a lot of new friends, spent time with the rest of our friends, and even finally got to meet friends in person for the first time. The WEKSOS guys were great and very helpful. Looking forward to this show from now on. And maybe one day we can make to Wekfest San Francisco.
