On one of our recent trips to visit Beat-Sonic in California, we had the opportunity to test the Interface Cable IF6 harness and we were pleasantly surprised with the results. This product lets you hook up your iPhone or iPod to your aftermarket dual din head unit to display your phone’s screen on your head unit. All controls and commands are still done through your iPod or iPhone but the advantage is displaying it on your headunit’s larger screen. We found that YouTube and Pandora worked, so any saved music and videos on your iPhone are also compatible with this product. This harness also charges your iPhone or iPod while it is hooked up. Overall, this is an inexpensive product that is not difficult to install, easy to use, and provides a solution for makes and models where no other options are available.

Navigation application (Waze) on the iPhone worked to our surprise. Compare the size of the iPhone screen vs. the head unit screen.
