Ride Slammed and Stiff with Tanabe Super Low Form Damper Coilovers

Finally! A coilover that allows you to ride slammed and have the correct valving to run super high spring rates. Kyoei USA is proud to announce that we can get you these coilovers directly from Japan! These are not sold in the USA and will not show up on Tanabe’s USA website. This is the super secret stuff that no one really knows about yet. Running crazy low offsets and stretched tires that just barely clear your fenders or are hitting your fenders under compression when you hit bumps at speed or try to make it over an incline? Then this is the coilover solution you want. You can go ultra low with these coilovers and run spring rates as high as 27k and still have the valving the shock needs to give you a nice controlled ride. This suspension is mainly available for Lexus IS, GS and LS and come in the standard kit or the “hard” kit which has slightly stiffer spring rates and valving if you want the stiffest possible set up. There is even a kit for the Scion xB too. Pricing is around $1600 + shipping. These are special order only.

Each Air Runner kit is made with the highest quality parts and is built to last. From their basic kit to the advanced TC-5 and OG series, rest assured you are getting only the best when it comes to Air Runner. The standard kit is available for most cars. Reasons to choose Air Runner over the rest:

All of our systems provide separate height adjustment at all four corners, which improves handling and over performance by reducing body roll.
The system come equipped with KYB struts/shocks that utilize a 4-position adjustment(where applicable) which allows for more precise suspension adjustment.
Utilizing Bridgestone sleeve type air bags, similar to what comes as OEM equipment on many high end vehicles
Our system had a basic ride height adjustment of 4-5 inches of travel, especially when placing the car in an ultra low stance when the car is parked.

Step Lip Work Varianza T1S on 2009 Lexus IS250

Our good friend and customer Matt waited about 5 months to get his Work Varianza T1s wheels. The wait was worth every second after we got these bad boys mounted on the car. Next up after the holidays is coilovers so we can slam this thing. He is riding on lowering springs for the time being. Fitment is pretty much in between conservative and semi-aggressive. Matt wanted step lip so that limited the fitment to doing 9′s and 10′s for widths. Final specs ended up being 19×9 +35mm and 19×10 +35mm with 225/35/19 and 245/35/19 Vredestein tires. The finish is called Black Polish which looks killer on this Black IS250. Black Polish has a polished/machined metal finish on the face of the spokes and the inside of the spokes are gloss black. We’ll see how things look after the coilover install, but we might want to add some spacers to get the “HellaFlush” look on this IS250. Stay tuned for updates on Matt’s car!

New Wheel Line Offered at Kyoei USA: Weds and Super Star Wheel

Kyoei USA is proud to announce we sell Weds and Super Star Wheel. The Weds line up consists of 4 lines: Kranze, Bvillens, Maverick and Wedsport. Super Star Wheel has the Leon Hardiritt line which is very popular in the VIP style car scene. The Kranze line is mainly targeted at VIP and Luxury style cars with most of the wheels being offered in finishes such as Chrome, SBC Polish, Silver Polish and Black Polish. Most Kranze wheels are 3 piece construction and are all made 100% in Japan. Some of the Kranze Evo line are 2 piece.

If you want something a little easier on the budget you can check out the Bvillens and Maverick line up which are all 2 piece construction but still offer custom offsets so you can fine tune your wheel fitment to your needs. The last line is Wedsport which is the tuner line up. These are lightweight 1 piece wheel targeted for more of the tuner market where strong lightweight rims are required.
