Thought we would post this up for fun because it is one of our very good friends who ended up leaving one hot state for another. Our friend Matt who also drives the most stanced out Lexus IS250 in all of Arizona ended up finding a better job opportunity out in Texas. We decided to have one last get together the night before he made the 18-20 hour drive. We decided to head over to one of our favorite Sushi joints, Sake Bombers in Tempe. After a few hours of some great sushi and tons of laughing and good times I snapped a few pics of Matt while he opened his going away presents from our other very good friends Cesar & Sarah.
The gift opening was hilarious as nobody had any clue what the gifts were besides Cesar & Sarah. All I had was my iPhone4 so I snapped a few pics with Matt holding the gifts.
Stay in touch Matt and we sure will miss you over in Texas!!!

I was browsing the Leon Hardiritt website and stumbled upon a couple articles under the “what’s new” section and my jaw dropped when I saw a picture of a Leon Hardiritt Orden & Gral with an insane HUGE lip. I was taken back and had to do a double…..no make that a triple take to make sure I was seeing this correctly. It turns out there are some special edition widths and offsets now available for select wheels. These are obviously made for some serious widebody vehicles. I can’t wait for someone to order a set of these and put em on anything!! It will be insane for sure! These are definitely not for your average roll & pulled fenders though! The least aggressive offset and width that is available is the Bugel with a 19×12 -54mm!!!!
So which wheels are available in this super gangster fitment you might ask? The answer is…..Gral w/200mm lip, Rasen w/200mm lip, Vertu w/175mm lip, Waffe w/192mm lip, Bugel w/198mm lip and Orden w/192mm lip.

Our good friend Travis Westman was asked to be featured by StanceNation on their worldwide online blog page. This 2002 IS300 is hands down Arizona’s most aggressive looking IS300. It just doesn’t get any better than this the way Travis set up his stance. What’s best is he daily drives this low!! This car is sitting on Apex’i coilovers and Enkei NT03+M in 18×9.5 +27 and 18×10.5 +30. He also is running H&R spacers 10mm front and 5mm rear making the effective offsets +17 and +25. Tires are 215/35/18 Nankang NS-II and 235/35/18 Falken Ziex ZE-912.

A couple months back there was a thread on VIPstylecars.com asking for people to submit their cars for the chance to get picked to be in the Japanese VIP Style magazine. We submitted our Kyoei USA project LS400 at the very last moment hoping we would make the cut-off. So we waited. Eventually a thread popped up on the forum by one of the members that made it into the article. We were excited to find out that our LS400 made the cut. They picked only 4 cars for the USA section and ours was one of them!! The article is called “VIP World Cup”. They dedicated a pretty large section of the magazine to showcase VIP cars from all over the World including countries such as: Australia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, Hong Kong and Canada. It’s pretty cool to see what people are doing all over the planet.
Props goes out to the owner Jin for building an extremely clean and traditional VIP style LS400. This proves that you don’t have to have the most aggressive wheels or modifications in order to get featured by a magazine.

We recently brought in this GenB RCA kit from Japan for one of our local customers. The GenB RCA kit allows for an additional 30mm of drop in the front, especially useful for people with air suspension or coilovers that don’t go as low as they need them to go. This particular set was ordered in for the Aristo 1998-2005 Lexus GS300. The car we installed this into is on air suspension but just didn’t go as low as he wanted in the front. The GenB RCA kit (also called SS kit and similar to the Youzealand SS kit) is extremely high quality and has a very nice brushed aluminum look to it. The install is pretty straight forward and takes roughly an hour at the most to install on both sides. The end result was just what the customer wanted and now he is able to tuck rim on his 19″ Weds Kranze LXZ wheels.

Today we had the pleasure of installing the new Tanabe DF210 lowering springs and new Tanabe Sustec front Under Brace on a local customer’s 2010 Toyota Prius. The DF210 springs offer a 1.3″ drop in front and 1.6″ in the rear and the ride quality is very close to stock – just a tad stiffer. The Sustec Under Brace also helps the overall feel of the car by stiffening up the front end more and reducing flex in the chassis – plus it looks cool when you are under your car doing oil changes!

If you are in the Phoenix area and you have a VIP style car or you are thinking about getting into the VIP car scene come check out Kyoei USA’s meets. We host the meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. You don’t have to own a VIP style car to come out, we welcome all car enthusiasts to come hang out and meet new people. Kyoei will be showcasing their shop car LS400 at each event which is reason enough to come out and see what the VIP scene is all about. The meets range anywhere from 4-5 cars to sometimes 10-15. We are still spreading the word so we can attract more people to come out.
We meet at Tempe Market Place at 7:05pm in the back of the Best Buy parking lot. If you’re not exactly sure where the parking lot is, the entrance is on the south side of the Market Place off Rio Salado. When you drive straight into the main parking area from street light, we will be on the right hand side towards the north side of the lot. Just look for the Black LS400.
